Responsibilities:
· Responsibility – cross functional in the Group – for all SCM processes, including customer service, production planning, intra- and outbound logistics, and materials management.
· Cross-site leadership and coordination along the sites and value chain (including sales and operations planning and execution, service level design, and responsibility for the distribution network).
· Accountability for delivery reliability, inventory, costs, and other SCM metrics
· Implementation of methods and processes to achieve excellent delivery reliability while optimizing material supply, inventory, and costs.
· Development and implementation of a continuous improvement process along the entire supply chain.
· Development and management of proactive customer-supplier relationships/integrations.
Requirements:
· Completed studies in logistics, SCM, or a comparable field (such as operations management).
· Commercial training is desirable (Excel, controlling, accounting, KPIs).
· Ideally, you are an experienced professional in the field of SCM and the introduction of SCM processes and organizations.
· Several years of successful leadership and project experience in the SCM environment.
· Additionally, experience in purchasing direct materials and production planning is advantageous.
· Comprehensive understanding of SCM contexts, methods, tools (e.g., impacts on costs, inventory, lead times, deliverability, and delivery reliability).
· Understanding of ERP systems and a high IT affinity.
· Change management experience, excellent analytical skills, and quick comprehension.
· Strong goal orientation and assertiveness.
· Excellent language skills in German and English.
· High willingness to travel
