ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client a leading provider of accounting, tax and advisory services, is seeking for a professional to join their team in Bucharest as:

Supervisor Level 2 – BPO & TAX Services (Ref. 6049/BPO-SUP2/ESS/RO)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of small and medium clients and oversee accounting records of large, high-complexity clients.
• Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting and tax legislation,  as well as internal risk management procedures.
• Oversee bookkeeping, statutory and management reporting, accounting controlling, and tax compliance processes.
• Develop, maintain, and update clients’ accounting policies and procedures manuals.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L, Notes).
• Support clients during tax audits and represent them before local authorities as assigned.
• Supervise, guide, and review the performance of accounting teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Participate in the recruitment, coaching, and development of team members, conducting performance evaluations and supporting career progression.
• Collaborate closely with Partners and Directors on client relationship management, project profitability, and team utilization.
• Identify business opportunities, contribute to Go-to-Market (G-t-M) initiatives, and support cross-selling of services.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or other related fields.
• CECCAR qualification (or in progress) or equivalent foreign certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting/tax services or in-house relevant role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or people management role.
• Excellent knowledge of Romanian accounting, taxation, and corporate law; familiarity with IFRS is an asset.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Hands-on experience with ERP and MIS systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a proactive and client-oriented mindset.
