Stress Engineer Aero - Stress Reports
•Bulid Integrated and Detailed Finite Element model of Aircraft metalic and composite Structures using Patran.
•Support load extraction using Patran GPFB.
•Perform Complex Stress Analysis for analysis reports using Classical Hand calculation methods and FE approach for metalic and composite parts.
•Perform Static Analysis. Fatigue analysis is an added advantage.
•Write Stress Analysis Reports for certification.
•Contribute to the technical strategy for the structural stress analysis capability.
•Responsible for timely completion of critical deliveries.
•Demonstrate ability to create innovative/novel solutions to problems.
•Should have strong overall understanding of Stress for metallic and composite parts.
Qualification, Skill and Experience
•Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•Experience in Stress analysis of Helicopters Fuselage is an added advantage.
•Proficient in the use of Finite element analysis packages and Classical Hand calculations methods for metallic and composite parts.
•Experience in using tools Patran (PCL), Optistruct or Nastran. JET, Hypermesh or Hyperview are an added advantage.
•Ability to work in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word. VBA is an added advantage
