- Develop software for embedded systems, especially for microcontrollers and electronic control units
- Analyze and understand software requirements
- Design the software architecture
- Integration of 3rd party AUTOSAR SW components
- Implement, test and validate the software on the real hardware
- Perform measurements and assess the results of the measurements
- University degree in Computers, Information
- Technology, Automation or relevant
- Knowledge in microcontrollers, embedded systems and electronic circuit theory
- Proactive and adaptable to a multinational environment
- Experience in programming in ANSI C (Embedded C), AUTOSAR, in-vehicle networking or other fields

Continental Sibiu annually manufactures approximately 33 million electronic control units. The products developed, tested and manufactured in Sibiu include intelligent braking systems, driving assist systems or acceleration pedals that limit the speed in case an obstacle is detected. In present, Continental Sibiu has approximately 4500 employees. Together, they combine their knowledge in software and hardware development, design and simulation experience, innovation in artificial intelligence, big data and production processes. Half of the Continental Sibiu employees work on the production line.
