For our Core Infrastructure within the Service Business Unit, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Software Developer/Infrastructure Specialist to improve and maintain our infrastructure backend.

You will be a part of a team which operates in a busy and rapid changing environment. It is therefore a requirement that you can handle and cope with many parallel ongoing tasks. You will mainly work in projects introducing new IT-technical solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities, you can expect to be involved in include, but are not limited to:

  • Working in a CI/CD environment (Azure, DevOps, SCRUM/SAFe…)
  • Provides estimates for modules under development, and estimates own work
  • Software execution (unit and integration tests)
  • Optimization of security solutions on our platforms
  • Automation of installation through PowerShell, Chef and other tools.
  • Windows Server, Linux distributions and VMware.
  • Component owner tasks – test, verification, documentation and release of Hardware, firmware and software releases,
  • Create documentation, training material, procedures, and processes
Additionally, you might participate on 3 Level support for IT technicians located in Onshore, Offshore and Service.

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.  We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy.

The ideal candidate has an academic degree in computer science, Software Engineering or similar in combination with thorough practical experience with the following:
We expect you to have thorough practical experience with agile software deployment and monitoring solution for power plants using Sonatype Nexus, Hashicorp Vault and CHEF.

We expect you have in depth knowledge on Infrastructure components server hardware, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), server operating systems (Microsoft/Linux), scripting (PowerShell/Bash) as well as knowledge on automating infrastructure with products like Chef (Ruby) or Ansible (Python). IT/OT security must be a high priority for you, and you have knowledge on different security products.
Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.

The Digital Foundation & Infrastructure Core IT Platform Services team is part of the Business Unit Service and consists of a group of dedicated employees. The team is responsible for the IT platform used for our SCADA platform.
