The Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager that will build global awareness and consideration of the product, following the strategy he or she will define while communicating the brand’s values in a positive, authentic way that will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected buyers.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable making data-driven decisions, recommending and implementing global strategies that drive both long-term strategy, pre-planned campaigns and day-to-day editorial decisions while achieving measurable results.
Oversee the social media strategy for the company ensuring it aligns with the company’s brand;
Plan communication, media mix development, media planning, performance measurement and online tracking and optimization. Passion for understanding the various consumer segments by market and their media behaviors is essential;
Work closely and collaboratively across Bannersnack’s marketing team to create strategically and efficiently topical trending content to increase Bannersnack’s brand relevance, foster global social conversation and leverage to build vibrant communities;
Stay abreast of new media trends and emerging channels. Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities and bring fresh, creative thinking to ensure Bannersnack is leveraging media in the most surprising and provocative ways;
Build out and execute a posting calendar that delivers awesome, channel-specific content;
Own and operate the day-to-day social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc), engaging with followers and building the brand;
Develop and own goals and performance metrics for Bannersnack’s brand social handles; monitor regularly to understand the effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement;
Creative thinker with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas to customers;
Experience launching and/or directly managing social accounts with global social followers;
Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams;
Extreme attention to detail with relentlessly high standards;
Exceptional editing and writing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques;
Experience in digital marketing and social media marketing tools.
