Role Overview

Randstad Digital Romania is looking for a SOC (Security Operations Center) Lead/ Manager. In this role you will be responsible for leading day-to-day security operations, managing incident detection and response, and ensuring continuous monitoring of the organization’s IT environment. This role provides technical leadership, people management, and process ownership for the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring effective threat detection, rapid response, and continuous improvement of security capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee 24x7 SOC operations, including monitoring, detection, analysis, response, and escalation of security incidents;
• Act as the primary escalation point for high-severity security incidents and coordinate response activities;
• Ensure incidents are properly documented, investigated, and remediated in accordance with policies and SLAs;
• Conduct post-incident reviews and drive corrective and preventive actions;
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOC policies, procedures, playbooks, and runbooks;
• Define and track SOC KPIs and metrics (MTTD, MTTR, alert quality, etc.);
• Manage, mentor, and develop SOC analysts (Tier 1–3);
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning;
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams;
• Provide regular reporting and briefings to senior management and stakeholders;
• Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance requirements as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years work experience in SOC Operations;
• Previous experience in leading or managing SOC Teams;
• Strong hands-on experience with incident response and threat analysis;
• Experience working with SIEM and security monitoring tools;
• Solid understanding of security frameworks;
• Strong communication and executive-level reporting skills;
• Advanced skills in English, both spoken and written;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members & stakeholders;
• Relevant certifications in domain will be highly appreciated.
