Profile Summary

Site Manager / Site Supervisor supporting Altenova’s Project Manager as a key member of the on-site leadership team for data center projects across Europe. Acts as the day-to-day operational lead on site, coordinating works execution and ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules. Provides strong on-site leadership, quality control, and coordination in multilingual and multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Support and report directly to the Altenova Project Manager, acting as the primary on-site execution lead
• Coordinate multiple site teams through structured communication with responsible foremen
• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring effective sequencing and interface management between trades
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements and project specifications
• Ensure that high quality standards and HSE requirements are consistently maintained on site
• Enforce HSE requirements and actively promote a strong safety and quality culture
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure quality control throughout all construction stages
• Identify site issues early and support timely escalation and resolution in coordination with the Project Manager
• Track site progress and support short-term planning and look-ahead schedules
• Attend and actively contribute to daily Whiteboard and DABS meetings
• Participate in all weekly coordination, quality and HSE meetings, ensuring agreed actions are implemented on site
• Support commissioning activities, inspections and system testing on site
• Assist with the preparation and verification of as-built documentation and O&M manuals
• Manage material ordering, coordinating with the Project Manager and procurement teams
• Oversee material reception, verification against delivery notes and compliance with project requirements
• Maintain accurate stock control and material counts on site
• Control and document material issue to site teams and subcontractors, ensuring traceability and availability
• Prepare and maintain supplier complaint / non-conformance protocols, documenting defects, damages, or delivery deviations and coordinating corrective actions
• Ensure site records, permits, delivery logs and reports are maintained accurately and up to date

Technical & Digital Skills

• Previous experience in data center, mission-critical, or similar technical construction environments is an advantage
• Familiarity with BIM360, Dalux, or similar site coordination tools is an advantage
• Experience with SAP (materials, logistics, or procurement modules) is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Communication & Language Skills

• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively in multilingual and multicultural site environments
• Clear, practical, and professional communication with site teams, subcontractors, and the Project Manager

Personal Requirements

• Valid driving license (category B)
• Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong sense of responsibility for safety, quality and site discipline
• Calm, reliable and effective when working under pressure

Mobility

• Willingness to travel within Europe according to project requirements
