Senior SW Developer – Cloud Web Application

We are looking for a passionate senior software developer working for Life Science Industry, using professional equipment and tools, architecting, designing, implementing and unit testing different system functionalities of a Cloud hosted web platform fulfilling laboratories needs.

You will have the unique opportunity to contribute along US engineers and scientists to the development of solutions that revolutionize medical research & treatment techniques and  instruments.

The ideal candidate should be a smart and open minded person, able to parse through functional requirements and technical design documents to come up with proper architecture and implementation, to guide the local development team in order to provide good software quality and support to our clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Web development skills are mandatory (JavaScript, React, Python, PHP or other)
• Ruby on Rails programming skills are nice to have
• Database development skills are mandatory (PostgreSQL, SQL Server or other)
• DevOps expertise is a plus
• Troubleshooting skills are needed
• Ability to coordinate other developers as needed
• Strong ownership, Open mind, Fast learner and Logical thinking are mandatory
• Good English communication
• Capability to work in parallel on multiple assignments
• . / . in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and understanding the requirements
• Architecting, designing, coding, unit testing and providing support for team members
• Conduct code reviews sessions providing constructive feedback on designs and implementations to help others improve coding skills
• Integrating software modules
• Maintaining and improving build and deploy process
• Be a strong full-time contributor to the project, with minimum technical supervision
• Get involved in product support as needed
• Communicate with US based customers
