Automatica SA is expanding its team and is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience, capable of handling complex projects and delivering high-quality technical solutions. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical thinking and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical structures and complex assemblies using SolidWorks (3D and 2D)
• Integrate technical solutions into functional systems according to project requirements
• Prepare full technical documentation: manufacturing drawings, technical projects, specifications
• Collaborate with production, sales, and procurement teams
• Participate in technical meetings, site visits
• Evaluate technical offers and supplier solutions
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and implementation phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (TCM)
• Proven experience in mechanical design
• Advanced SolidWorks skills (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing (ISO standards)
• Solid understanding of strength of materials and machine elements
• Experience with welded structures and manufacturing processes is a plus
• Advanced English (technical vocabulary required)
• Valid driving license (Category B)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
