Senior Inginer VoIP

Must have:
- Advanced VoIP protocol knowledge (SIP/RDP/T38)
- Basic TDM protocol knowledge (SS7)
- Basic IP protocol knowledge (network troubleshooting, L2/L3, basic routing & filtering)
- Basic SQL
- Analytical skills, experience in finding solutions / solving problems
- Communication skills, must be able to talk to the customer if needed

Nice to have:
- Advanced Linux skills
- Advanced SQL skills
- Scripting & Programming (Bash, Python, PHP)

Job description:
- This position involves managing the VoIP network of NextGen Communications
- Configuration, testing and implementation of the product and elements of VoIP solutions - gateways, servers etc.
- Monitor and troubleshoot endpoint issues (phone software and software) and call quality issues
- Implement the disaster recovery plan and schedule tests to validate the planned and / or ad-hoc deadline
- Responsible for designing, reviewing, analysing, evaluating and maintaining the voice network
- Monitor and respond to network incidents, outages and events
