Since the end of 2017, voestalpine Rotec Coating SRL has been a member of the voestalpine Rotec group. The company is located in Timișoara, in western Romania. Here, pretensioners for seat belts are coated using the cathodic dip coating (CDC) method.     

Job Description:

• Preparing monthly closing reports, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts in line with group requirements
• Performing analyses on cost centers and expense categories
• Actively participating in the implementation of internal control processes and policies
• Analyzing financial indicators: cash flow, P&L, inventory
• Reviewing and analyzing monthly costs in collaboration with the accounting department
• Calculating production-level cost rates
• Reporting deviations from budget and forecast, in accordance with IFRS standards
• Using specific IT applications (e.g., SAP, inventory management systems)
• Coordinating cost control activities within projects
• Monitoring expenses and budget commitments
• Preparing and updating cost reports
• Supporting completion estimates (ETC/EAC) and variance analysis
• Collaborating closely with planning, procurement, and contract teams
• Ensuring traceability of cost changes resulting from scope modifications
• Contributing to the development of internal cost control procedures and tools

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost controlling
• Completed higher education in finance/economics
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, and organizational skills
• Advanced English language proficiency
