Senior Coordinator Supply Circuit Non-Production Materials - Ford Otosan Craiova
Roles & responsibilities:
•Ensures the quality and efficiency criteria of the results within the processes (production, maintenance, materials planning, and logistics - as applicable);
•Monitor the application and compliance with work instructions and procedures;
•Supervises and implements continuous improvement activities in all aspects related to the workplace;
•Is responsible for the department's involvement in improvement processes (Six Sigma), process variability reduction, as well as in other qualitative tools and company initiatives;
•Manage the process of rejecting materials and parts on quality grounds;
•Ensures the delivery of the established objectives according to the specifics of the activity, deadlines, and work procedures in the allocated area (production, production launch, maintenance, materials planning and logistics, quality;
•Achievement of planned production volume / maintenance and technical improvement works / vehicle delivery volume / quality objectives;
•Management of the supply circuit for materials, parts, and tools, review and control of stock levels (using min/max levels), administration of material flow, ensuring the delivery of parts on time, in the correct quantity and quality (logistics);
•Is involved in ensuring that the provisions promoted by the department are within the established deadlines, qualified, and aligned with the company's cost policy;
•Identify and implement, in agreement with the department management, opportunities to improve costs without creating industrial dysfunctions;
•Responsible for organizing the work and teams in the area, including monitoring and controlling attendance, absence, and leave;
•Ensures that employees within the work area are effectively trained to perform their roles safely and to the required quality standards;
•Ensures that environmental rules and legislation are respected within the allocated work area;
•Responsible for the control, management, and disposal of waste in the work area, in accordance with company requirements;
•Ensures that the handling of hazardous materials in the assigned work area is subject to proper control;
•Reduce the damage to parts during production, logistics, and maintenance operations (as applicable);
•Optimization and cost reduction through the use of new tools and technologies (production, maintenance).
Requirements:
-Higher education of Technical or Economic Studies.
-Good written and oral English language skills;
-Knowledge within a logistics, technical, production or production planning area;
-Well-experienced in MS office tools Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
-Good communication and organizational skills – leading cross-functional teams;
-Knowledge of leading, coaching, and developing people and teams, result-oriented.
