Join our rapidly expanding FMCG and retail group as a Senior Controller. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Group CFO, you will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and business performance analysis. This position is ideal for a finance professional who combines strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset and enjoys partnering with senior management to drive strategic decisions.

Reporting to: Head of Finance, Group CFO

Main Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

Management Reporting: Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, including financial performance analysis and executive dashboards.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Performance Analysis: Monitor financial KPIs, analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast, and provide actionable recommendations.

Business Partnering: Support department managers with financial insights to improve operational performance and profitability.

Financial Controlling

Cost Control: Monitor operating expenses, identify cost optimization opportunities, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Profitability Analysis: Analyze profitability by business unit, product category, and sales channel to support commercial decisions.

Cash Flow Monitoring: Support cash flow planning and working capital optimization through regular financial analysis.

Process Improvement: Develop and improve financial models, reporting tools, and controlling procedures to enhance decision making.

Compliance & Internal Control

Financial Accuracy: Ensure consistency and reliability of financial data used for reporting and analysis.

Internal Controls: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial control procedures across the organization.

Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, or Management Reporting.

Previous experience in Retail, FMCG, or multi entity businesses is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Advanced Excel skills are mandatory, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and financial modeling.

Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI is considered a strong advantage.

Communication: Fluent in English, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior management.
