About Us:

Main responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with internal policies and regulations;
• Register all financial documents in the accounting system, ensuring proper supporting documentation
• Review accounting entries and perform periodic account reconciliations (AP/AR/GL, VAT, bank and balance sheet accounts), ensuring data accuracy and promptly investigating discrepancies
• Prepares, check and archives primary documents (supplier invoices, bank statements, receipts, other documents);
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments and other closing entries)
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and related supporting documentation
• Prepare periodic internal management reports and support ad-hoc reporting needs
• Assist with preparation and submission of tax declarations (e.g. D300, D390, D394) and ensure fiscal compliance
• Prepare periodical statistical reports for the National Bank of Romania and the National Institute of Statistics, where applicable
• Stay updated on accounting regulations, tax legislation and best practices
• Participate in statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely documentation and explanations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial deliverables
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business transactions and their impact on both financial and management accounting
• Identify process improvements opportunities and contribute to enhancing efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations
• Support the Finance Director with various reports and finance-related projects
• Perform other accounting-related activities, as required

Required Skills & Experience:

• University graduate in an economical field (Accounting/Finance);
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; IFRS exposure would be a plus
• Very good accounting and fiscal knowledge;
• Good communication skills and proactive person;
• Self-motivated and positive attitude;
• Analytical and logical thinking;
• Accuracy, timeliness and diligence;
• Good computer skills;
• Very good knowledge of Excel;
• Good knowledge of English
