The group currently has a headcount of 250 employees. The annual turnover amounts to 12 mln EUR.

Approximately half of the clients are companies from the real estate, retail, IT and web hosting industry.

The services we provide cover:
•The statutory compliance: maintenance of the accounting records in line with the local regulations
•The management reporting: preparation of financial reports in line with various accounting standards and templates imposed by the Client.

•HR & Payroll services

We are looking for: An Accounting Supervisor in the Branch Office of KR Group located in Bucharest, Romania.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and accounting of documents according to local law regulations;

2. Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients;

3. Responsible for drawing up the annual financial statements;

4. Review and checks the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, ledgers ,etc…;

5. Responsible for drawing up the declarations (in particular PIT, CIT, VAT) due to local regulations;

6. Following month-end closing procedures;

7. Maintaining correspondence with the customers;

8. Handling tax and accounting audits under the supervision of the manager;

9. Reports in a financial and accounting software of the accounting system at customers request;

10. Cooperating and supervising over junior accounting consultant/s and accounting consultant/s;

11. Reports to the Accounting Manager and Country Manager.

Attributes:

1. Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting;

2. Fluent English;Very good knowledge of accounting standards and local regulations ( CECCAR qualification is a plus);

3. Over 6 years of experience in accounting (ideally in an accounting firm).

4. Experience with retailers is a plus;

5. Analytical thinking, discipline, results driven;

6. Drive, determination and influencing abilities;

7. Excellent computer knowledge and ability to work with special accounting software.
