Position Summary

The Functional Owner in the security domain will technically lead and coordinate all efforts to monitor and safeguard the required features inside the corresponding domain within Telematics projects. She/he will be a main contact for the SW-PL and Functional Domain Leaders and for this she/he will need to have a good understanding about the work packages developed in her/his responsibility area and their status.

Job Responsibilities

  • Technical responsibility for security domain within Harman Telematics projects
  • Planning, controlling and monitoring of all tasks related to assigned domain and tracking of related work product integration (SW modules) into the overall project
  • Leading technically the team members assigned to the domain
  • Analysis and clarification of requirements, interfaces, architecture, timeline, etc. related to assigned domain with the customer twin, the impacted Harman domains and suppliers on technical level (. workshops, regular communication meetings)
  • Support of the project leads in regards to evaluation of requirements and change requests
  • Status reporting towards SW project lead and management
  • Problem/issue ticket management related to assigned domain
  • Support for proof-of-concept activities if needed
  • Ensuring compliance to Harman internal and SW engineering processes required by the customer (. Automotive SPICE) and methods (. SAFe)

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree (MSc/BSc)
  • Track record with minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems, preferably in automotive
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in SW development (OOA, OOD, OOP)
  • Very good knowledge of security concepts (secure boot, encryption, HSM, TEE, SecSOA)
  • Very good knowledge in automotive System-/SW Engineering
  • Analytical skills and good system understanding in the embedded SW area
  • Experience in technical coordination of engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills
  • Experience in working with (external) customers/OEMs
  • Self-driven, autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help others achieve this
  • Good English language skills, German language skills are an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Infotainment/Telematics systems and experience in working inside Automotive projects
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good understanding and working skills in C/C++, Linux, AUTOSAR, SW architecture (UML), MS Office tools, JIRA, Confluence, ALM, DOORS
  • Knowledge of SW development processes (. V-Model, ASPICE, etc.)
  • Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks (SAFe) is an advantage

Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on the project necessities
