The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Bucharest invites applications for the position of Secretary / Personal Assistant to the Ambassador.
The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and personal support in a professional diplomatic setting, ensuring the smooth running of the Ambassador's/Embassy's schedule and correspondence.
Responsibilities
Managing the Ambassador's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments and official engagements
Handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails and diplomatic notes on behalf of the Ambassador/Embassy
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, dignitaries and institutional partners
Organising and coordinating travel arrangements
Preparing, formatting and proofreading official documents
Maintaining a well-organised filing system for documents
Liaising with Romanian authorities, other diplomatic missions and international organisations as required
Administrative support for the Embassy staff in the organisation of official events, receptions and meetings hosted by the Embassy
Assisting with protocol matters and ensuring compliance with diplomatic etiquette
Performing general office administration duties and supporting other Embassy staff as needed
Translation from Romanian to English and vice-versa
Requirements
University degree (administration, international relations, languages or related field preferred)
Fluency in English (written and spoken) - mandatory
Proficiency in Romanian - mandatory
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, PA or secretarial role
Experience in a diplomatic, institutional or international environment is a plus
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Romanian citizenship

Selection process
