Responsibilities:

Coordinate and coach software development team

Helping software development teams apply the Scrum framework to produce high-quality work

Coaching team members in Agile methodologies and frameworks

Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity

Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

Planning deliverables and helping teams monitor performance

Managing project timelines, resolving issues/blockages that slow down or hinders teams’ work

Coordinate sprints, review and retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups

Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration

Point of contact for external communications (. from customers or stakeholders)

Works with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests

Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur

Help team implement changes effectively

Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint and ready for customer demo

 

Experience and skills:

Excellent knowledge of the scrum framework and/or Experience in a scrum master role

Familiarity with software development lifecycle

Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

Ability to coach and coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with deliverables/results-oriented mindset

Excellent communication and servant leadership skills

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability

Outstanding organizational skills

Good understanding of the Agile Manifesto

 

Nice to have/be willing to expand

Scrum Master certification

Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, Crystal, XP, etc.)

Degree in Computer Science or technical background
