Job environment

The SAP Corporate Solutions team focuses on the SAP platform and the SAP applications for Stadtwerke München Group (SWM), Munich's municipal utilities company, including its subsidiaries and parent company, and therefore on all SAP developments with the exception of BI topics. With our 40 or so strong team we sustainably support and improve the Group’s business processes. We deploy technologies and methods on the basis of a long-term and sustainable strategy. We continually update the strategy in line with the needs and requirements of the various departments.


What we expect you to do

  • Based on current SAP technologies, you will design and implement on-premise and cloud systems for conventional desktop workstations as well as mobile applications.

  • As part of a multidisciplinary team you will develop the solutions in our new S/4/HANA and Sap Cloud Platform environment using agile and iterative methods.

  • You will deploy the innovative solutions independently and as part of a team. You will also advise the departments on technical issues.

  • You will track new technological developments and frameworks in software development, and in the SAP Business Technology platform in particular.

  • Willingness to live and work in Munich


What it takes to convince us

  • Completed IT training or studies with several years experience in software development and software design.

  • You have been passionately developing software systems for years. 

  • You have a solid knowledge of software engineering and software modelling (UML). You are also familiar with process modelling (. BPMN).

  • You are used to looking after a product from design through to end of life, taking responsibility throughout the product’s life cycle.

  • You have a good command of German (at least level B2).
