Our client, automatic conveying and sorting solution supplier is developing the production facility and needs the skills and expertise of a Sales Engineer (conveyors modules). As a sales engineer, you’ll combine technical knowledge with sales skills. The successful candidate will manage and maintain the relationship with the existing clients and develops the portfolio of new clients. We’re looking for a creative and flexible person, with self-confidence, sound judgement and good business sense, teamworking ability, the ability to build relationships with clients quickly, analytical and problem-solving skills, resilience and tenacity, independence, presentation skills, willing to travel regularly within the Romania and abroad.
Your knowledge & qualifications:
University studies in the technical field
A solid technical background (mechanical, automation)
Good understanding of technical drawing and design, AutoCad
Knowledge of intra-logistics equipments, electric and transmission components (is an advantage)
Knowledge of sales, international distribution channels, market and business environment analysis tools
MS Office; general knowledge about CRM and ERP
Advanced English knowledge, German is a plus
Driving license (B category)
Your work experience:
Experienced technical sales engineers required (2-3 years in industrial sales field, preferably driven conveyors)
Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
Searching for new clients (intern and international) who could benefit from your products in a designated region
Travelling to visit potential clients
Managing and interpreting customer requirements
Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
Calculating client quotations. Negotiating and issuing the appropriate quotation to various customers.
Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
Confirming process orders from customers and coordinating
Administering client accounts. Recording and maintaining client contact data.
Analyzing costs and sales. Preparing reports for head office.
Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
Solving client problems. Helping in the design of custom-made products.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events
