Do you know what LCR, NSFR, COREP, FINREP and IP Losses stand for — and more importantly, have you built and submitted them? If regulatory reporting is where your expertise lives, we should talk.
ProCredit Bank Romania is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join the Finance & Reporting team. This is a hands-on role focused on producing and improving the bank's prudential and risk-related reporting to the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERSRegulatory reports are the language banks use to speak with supervisors. LCR, NSFR, COREP, IP Losses, large exposures, asset encumbrance — these are not just templates to fill in; they require deep understanding of prudential rules, data architecture, and cross-functional coordination. If you enjoy working at the intersection of regulation, data and risk — this role puts you right there.
WHAT YOU WILL DO• Prudential & risk reporting: prepare, validate and submit recurring BNR/EBA reports — including COREP (own funds, capital ratios, credit risk, operational risk), LCR, NSFR, IP Losses, asset encumbrance, large exposures, and leverage ratio.
• Data quality & reconciliation: analyse and reconcile data from the core banking system, GL and risk systems; identify and escalate data quality issues; propose improvements to reporting workflows.
• Regulatory monitoring: track changes in BNR, EBA and CRR/CRD reporting requirements; assess impact on existing templates and processes.
• Group reporting: support the preparation of reporting packages for the group/parent bank (consolidation, IFRS-based packages).
• Ad-hoc & management reporting: develop risk-related analyses and presentations for Management and the Board, as needed.
• Projects: participate in reporting automation, data warehouse and system implementation projects as subject-matter expert.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory/prudential reporting in a bank
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: COREP, LCR, NSFR, IP Losses, large exposures, asset encumbrance, leverage ratio.
• Working knowledge of CRR/CRD IV requirements and BNR reporting instructions
• Strong Excel skills
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with large data sets under reporting deadlines.
Nice to have:
• Experience with other BNR reporting.
• Experience preparing group/consolidation reporting packages.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 7 or Basel III/IV framework.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Direct involvement in the bank's core supervisory dialogue — your work goes to BNR.
• A compact team where you see the full picture, not a narrow slice of a large department.
• Professional development opportunities in one of the most technical areas of banking.
• Stable, long-term employment in a development-oriented international banking group.
• Flat hierarchy, open communication, and a genuinely collaborative culture.
