I. Target
The highest target of this position is to ensure the product- and process quality within the company. By development and maintenance of the QM-System in combination with quality assuring corrective and improvement actions the jobholder will take care of highest Quality and effectivity.
II. Main Tasks1. Cooperation in maintenance and improvement of the QM-system and the QM-handbook according to ISO 9001, incl. document management, quality reports and statistics for the location
2. Taking responsibility and leadership for the related Q-staff to ensure the following tasks:
a. Planning and coordination of the measuring equipment management and regular measuring tool capability analysis in close cooperation with the headquarter
b. Establishment and maintenance of inspection plans for the local production
c. Definition, implementation and tracking of preventive, improvement or corrective actions at the location
d. Prepare initial sample reports according to VDA 2 to the headquarter
e. Quality assurance in the production and regular quality training of the staff
f. Quality assurance of the crimping processes by preparing and evaluating micro section pictures of the crimp per each production order
g. Execution of sorting or measuring tasks on demand
3. Processing of complaints including failure and root cause analysis, as well as definition, implementation and tracking of corrective actions
4. Execution of internal process audits in close cooperation with the headquarter
5. Preparation, company and post-processing of customer visits and audits
6. Contact person regarding quality relevant requests and topics for the headquarter or other plants
III. Support Tasks
1. Support of all departments regarding continuance and improvement of the management system and the product quality (CIP)
2. Support of the FMEA-process by attending the FMEA meetings on demand
IV. Responsibility
1. Continuance and improvement of the quality awareness in the company
2. Avoidance or reduction of quality related costs
V. Competence
Decisions within the field of responsibility will be taken extensively self dependent.
Vacation planning has to be in accordance with the substitute, the companies concerns and needs to be agreed by the supervisor.
The acceptance of any external costs needs to be agreed by the supervisor.
VI. Continuing Education
The Jobholder agrees to constantly improve the skill level and increase knowledge by literature, internal or external training actions.
