Responsibilities:

• Lead root cause analysis using structured methodologies (5 Why, Ishikawa, QRQC).
• Implement and validate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper implementation of poka-yoke and error-proofing systems.
• Monitor customer scorecards, manage PPM and claim cost reduction.
• Drive internal audits (process, layered audits, product audits) and defect reduction.
• Support production with quality checks and problem resolution.
• Calibration planning of EMM's.
• Validate and maintain process capability (Cp, Cpk). Monitor internal quality KPIs (PPM, complaints, cost of poor quality).
• Plan and conduct MSA.
• Support APQP/PPAP processes for  new projects and engineering changes.
• Lead  containment actions (sorting, rework, firewall)
• Support scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support with Supplier Quality nonconformities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or equivalent)
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering in an industrial environment (automotive preferred).
• Solid knowledge of IATF 16949, core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why). Experience in manufacturing environment (wire harness is a strong advantage)
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and technical drawings. Audit skills (VDA 6.3 is a plus)
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English; German would be a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office, SAP or quality software tools.
