Product Engineer

Purpose of the position:

Support the production plant by providing technical support in analysis and resolution of complex product-related technical problems and in managing product changes in response to issue, customer request in serial life and improving plant profitability.

Job Qualifications:

• Autonomy in his work
• Knowledge of Catia - 2D and 3D, technical drawings
• Skill in dimensioning and tolerance thru GPS method
• Understand tolerance analysis (2D, 3D), calculation analysis (Ansys, Adams, …)
• Use planning tool
• English - advanced level
• Optional - other foreign languages (French, German…)
• University or Master degree (preferably technical studies)
• Experience in automotive industry
• PC utilization knowledge(Microsoft Office)

Main missions:

• Purpose and manage technical changes in product design in responds to problem, customer change request and cost saving in accordance with the objectives of specifications, timing, quality, cost.
• Managing update of technical documentation (drawings, Bill of materials, risk analysis, tolerance analysis, technical specification ...)
• Know how to analyze and solve complex technical problems related to the product
• Support the presentation of technical changes to the validation commission (ECR process)
• Preferred technical contact of suppliers,

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out a technical changes of the product (to make/validate/register/maintain up to date technical documents),
• Conducts risk analyses of changes and follows associated action plans.
• Establish simulations list with load cases and tolerance analysis with their constraints.
• Ensure product change timing and follow product validations
• Performs problem solving to research root causes of technical problems in validation, and complex technical problems in the field.
• Lead the technical review with suppliers
• Respect safety regulations in factories and other Inteva technical centers
• Contributes to continuous improvement within the company
• Assist in the implementation of test procedures and equipment
• Participate in the instruction according to the safety and health, emergency situations and fire protection and environmental management laws.
