We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who is open to an international career opportunity and relocation to our manufacturing plant in Mexico. Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry;
• Expertise in Strategic Procurement, Cost Management, Supply Chain and Risk Management;
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills;
• Project Management capabilities;
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 standards;
• Proficiency in English, Spanish is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Works together with the demanding departments to find the best suppliers of goods/services that meet the company's business needs;
• Ensures the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, including developing and implementing global procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and reducing risks associated with global sourcing;
• Establishes and implements the strategy of relations with internal and external suppliers, locally and globally, through agreement with the Commodity Department;
• Negotiates and validates contracts and agreements, checks compliance with contractual clauses and maintains contact with suppliers, both locally and globally for raw materials and parts purchase;
• Develops yearly purchasing saving target with the global procurement organization;
• Is responsible for preparing and executing a comprehensive plan to achieve targets according to the agreed schedule;
• Is responsible for leading and developing high-potential purchasing team members within the organization, in collaboration with the functional leader;
• Coordinates supplier issue escalation and resolution processes during series production, together with AQE, following established responsibilities and procedures;
• Supports global commodity strategies by expanding and developing the supplier base in the US and Mexico.
