Ensures high customer satisfaction for our premium products for carlines such as: Mercedes A & B class, Jaguar Land Rover, and others by successfully supporting the process implementation from project to series phase.
Develops, implements and standardizes production processes, elaborating the technological documentation starting with the development phase and supports the production line until and along the series phase. This particular job is responsible for the automatic robotic paining line and requires programming skills.
Evaluates and develops the process in the project phase, in collaboration with other involved departments (project, production, quality, logistics etc), according to safety standards, efficiency and established deadlines.
Creates and updates the entire documentation required for the process in the area of responsibility (part history, data chart, maturity degree) and validates production process modifications.
Elaborates specifications, tests and validates product materials, along with other parts or tools necessary for the production process.
Sets and constantly improves the process flow and layout of the tools, molds and auxiliary devices (if applicable), taking into account lean manufacturing methods (process efficiency and stability).
Is responsible for FMEA analysis, control plan and working/checking instructions starting from the development phase and up until the series production.
Is responsible for machine and installations setting and elaborates instructions for tools setting.
Sets a standard working instruction and is responsible for training production area representatives.
Monitors and improves the process capability and production tools efficiency.
Plays an active and important role as a process specialist in quality claims analysis (8D reports).
Is responsible for new product testing and optimization, with the purpose of ramping them up into series production, according to current standards and specifications.
Systematically documents new information and experience and elaborates measures for constant process optimization (among others, reaching customer required lifetime-savings through cycle time)
Participates in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of tools and devices.
Plays an important role in finding endurance solutions that can be implemented in the series production cycle, along with the team.
Anayses the causes for process deviations, eliminates the failures and works with other departments on the planning and implementing modifications on the product.
Uses kaizen tools and methods in his/her daily activity
University degree in a technical field;
Minimum two years of experience in a similar position in automotive industry;
Relevant experience in the process of robotic painting (minimum three years);
Demonstrated knowledge of automotive quality standards: IATF, VDA
Demonstrated knowledge of quality instruments: FMEA, Ishikawa, PPAP, 8D, CC/SC, customer specific requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of automatic robotic painting technologies and processes
Robots programming skills
Production process optimization and standardization (lean management)
Advanced command of English language/intermediate level of German language is an advantage
Problem solving and analytical thinking skills (technical oriented)
