About the Position:

We are looking for a Engineer to join Marelli Ploiesti - Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

This position is based at our office in Marelli Ploiesti Romania SRL.

As Process Engineer you will coordinate and provide support for the development, implementation, and optimization/improvement of production processes within Marelli Ploiesti Romania.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Actively participates in project meetings, initiates action plans and monitors their implementation to ensure the smooth progress of the project, guaranteeing continuity and timely closure of actions.
  • Prepares specifications and ensures machines and equipment comply with current legal standards.
  • Provides support for commissioning machines, equipment, and tools by coordinating operations and conducting validation tests after installation or relocation.
  • Prepares technical production specifications for machinery and equipment to meet required production volumes.
  • Performs validation tests and receives equipment and tools from suppliers, in accordance with current procedures.
  • Conducts capability analysis of products and equipment to provide feedback for product development.
  • Creates and maintains control over engineering documents for production lines; monitors projects assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Offers technical expertise for issues related to machines, equipment, and tools to resolve and optimize/ improve deficient processes, including involving suppliers in addressing deficiencies.
  • Ensures process standards are applied.
  • Proposes investments for improving production processes (new launches, renewal, spare parts, improvements, trials, others).

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Previous experience in industry, at least 5 years, in a processes Engineering role; 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing flow
  • English fluent;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft tools (MS Office and MS Teams);
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams (internally and globally);
  • Strong planning and activity control skills;
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.
