PHP developer

We are looking for a PHP Developer, eager to join WebitFactory. We are a Bucharest based company and we are in the process of rapidly-expanding our team.

We have several clients in our portfolio from different countries all around the world such as: Romania, Germany, UK, Brazil, Netherlands etc.

In this role you will:

• Be part of the development team, which covers the entire development process, from specifications and implementation to production and evolutionary maintenance.

• Be part of a long-term project, designed to have a continuous functional and technological evolution.

• Cover with the team the entire development process, from specifications and implementation to production and evolutionary maintenance.

• Participate in performance-oriented development, given a large volume of data.

• Participate in cloud development with extended scalability and advanced security requirements.

Tech stack:

PHP Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS

Requirements for the PHP Developer role:

• Strong knowledge and experience in backend development systems and methodologies (at least 2 years);

• Excellent knowledge of PHP Laravel Framework, MySQL and REST-API;

• Good knowledge of working database systems & database optimizations;

• Extensive experience in writing and maintaining tests;

• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail;

• Great communication skills and fluency in English.

• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript

Our ideal candidate would be a Mid PHP Developer, who boasts the following qualification:

• Strong knowledge of API/ back-end development best practices and system architecture;

• Strong knowledge of Database systems and algorithms;

• Willingness to mentor less experienced team members.

Nice to have skills:

• Knowledge of a frontend framework such as Vue/React/Angular

• Willing to learn new technologies
