Job Description:

• Responsible for the packaging management including the coordination, implementation and securing of the specific packaging requirements from our customers;
• Coordinate and operate packaging change projects and ensure implementation;
• Consideration of new customer requirements and review of them with other locations, exchange best practices and shares information;
• Analysis of current packaging solutions and packaging flows (one-way/returnable) followed by improvements proposals i.e. implementation of agreed solutions;
• Coordinate and operate packaging change projects (e.g. based on customer request) and ensure implementation;
• Maintain and work with the customer portals where applicable;
• Improve packaging solutions continuously, solve packaging challenges;
• Knowledge und understanding of packaging design validation standards;
• Work together with supplier to optimize packaging usage; define standard packaging shipment instructions;
• Continuously collaborate with Purchasing function to look for the most optimal solution in terms of costs at the requested level of quality.

Job Requirements:

• University degree or a completed apprenticeship (technical or logistic) with a completed additional training within some years’ experience in respective area;
• At least 2 years professional experience in logistics, packaging management, sales or familiar;
• Experience in problem solving;
• Pronounced intercultural and international experience in working with internal and external stakeholders;
• SAP knowledge desirable.
