About the Role

As a Order to Cash Specialist, you will be responsible for the continuous development, optimization, and support of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes within an international industrial environment.

Working at the intersection of business and IT, you will translate business requirements into effective process and SAP solutions, support international projects, and ensure the successful implementation of process and system changes. You will work closely with Process Owners, Key Users, specialist departments, and central SAP IT.

The role offers the opportunity to actively shape future-oriented processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's global SAP landscape.

Therefore, a successful candidate would be responsible for:

• Develop and optimize process designs and support the implementation of business requirements and IT solutions within international projects, focusing on SAP R/3 and S/4HANA Order-to-Cash processes.
• Independently analyze business requirements and assess the plausibility and impact of change requests.
• Develop and maintain business concepts, process descriptions, user documentation, and training materials.
• Work closely with Company Process Owners, Key Users, specialist departments, and central SAP IT to develop sustainable process and system solutions.
• Accompany and support testing phases for new processes, system enhancements, and changes.
• Independently perform error analyses, identify root causes, and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
• Support SAP users in resolving process and system-related inquiries.
• Conduct targeted training sessions for internal users and support the successful adoption of new processes and system functionality.
• Support and process Order-to-Cash activities in SAP R/3 for the relevant business units.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and harmonization of end-to-end O2C processes in an international industrial environment.

Therefore, a successful candidate would have:

• Completed university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in business process management, SAP, O2C, sales processes, or a related field.
• Completed two-year technical college education combined with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience and additional specialized further training.
• Experience with SAP SD is desirable.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent understanding of end-to-end business processes in an industrial environment, with a particular focus on Sales and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business processes and identify the key issues and dependencies.
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and independently develop appropriate solutions.
• A proactive and independent working style combined with an interest in developing innovative and future-oriented solutions.
• Knowledge of agile working methodologies.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with both business and IT stakeholders.
