Porta Doors, a leading European manufacturer of doors, is looking for a Operational / Business Analyst to join our factory team in Arad in a specialist role.

If you enjoy understanding how production flows work, identifying inefficiencies, and turning operational data into measurable improvements, we would like to meet you.

You will be responsible to:

• Analyze and map production and business processes within the factory
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across operations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization projects)
• Participate in system implementations and process standardization projects
• Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, procedures)
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production and operational data
• Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops with production and support departments
• Support change implementation initiatives at factory level

Ideally you should have:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial /Production Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Management, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar analyst/specialist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in optimization projects or system implementations
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Management, Six Sigma, Kaizen)

Technical Skills

• Experience in process modeling
• Knowledge of BPM / process mapping tools (MS Visio or similar)
• Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel)
• Experience with SQL and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) – considered an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems in a production environment – a plus
• Ability to create clear and structured technical documentation

• Ability to quickly understand complex production flows
• Proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
