This post will be Indefinite This is a Full-time postfull time equivalent The Faculty of Arts & Humanities comprises 15 academic units and centres. Departmental professional services administration is delivered via four clusters covering Creative Arts, Humanities, Literatures & Languages and the Modern Language Centre. This Research and Resources Officer post is based in the Creative Arts cluster supporting the departments of Culture, Media & Creative Industries, Digital Humanities, Film Studies, Music and Liberal Arts. The successful applicant will have excellent IT and numeracy skills, the ability to multi task and work under pressure without losing attention to detail, the ability to cope with shifting and demanding priorities, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels within, and external to the organisation, in a professional and assured manner The post of Research & Resources Officer supports the Research & Resources Manager with the diverse range of activity across the academic departments in their remit. The post-holder will be responsible for effective administration of routine finance operations in accordance with the College's financial regulations and procedures, as well as purchasing equipment and stock via e-procurement. They will assist with all HR-related matters, to include recruitment processes for new staff. They will also support estates and facilities-related matters, including space planning, room bookings and arranging maintenance, as well as management of specialist equipment . instruments. The selection process will include an assessment and a panel interview.
