MYP German Teacher

As we are expanding our team, we need an MYP/DP German Teacher.

• Plan, teach and assess relevant, global and significant learning engagements that differentiate for individual student needs, according to the requirements of the corresponding IB programme
• Create a stimulating classroom environment
• Engage in student activities beyond the classroom
• Engage in assessment design, standardization, and moderation, using data to inform teaching and improve student outcomes
• Participate in and assist with school events as required
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, including coaching, co-planning, and professional dialogue
• Contribute to curriculum planning and development, including interdisciplinary units of work and the development of IB Learner Profile attributes
• Use inquiry as a pedagogical framework for learning and teaching
• Integrate technology meaningfully into students’ learning experiences
• Provide regular, constructive feedback and support students in reflecting on their progress

What do you need to be part of our team?

If you have a positive attitude, adapt to each student's needs, and are motivated by innovation and interactive learning, then the following requirements should complete the profile:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in German Language and Literature or a related field
• Minimum 2- 3 years of proven teaching experience; ideally within an IB school
• Proven track record of delivering strong academic results
• Familiarity with or commitment to implementing the IB MYP and/or DP curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with students, parents, and colleagues
• Willingness to engage in extracurricular activities
• Strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset
