Middle / Senior Web Developer

             The ROREG Association is a non-governmental organization, which includes the 8 Regional Development Agencies from each development region of Romania. The ROREG Association aims to get involved in an innovative way in the sustainable development of the Romanian regions, by promoting good practices and cooperation between regions, based on the experiences gained in more than 20 years of activity in the field of regional development and the implementation of European funds.

 Job Description

               We are looking to extend our team with a Middle / Senior Web Developer that will play a key role in supporting The ROREG Association in developing an IT application which aims to facilitate the exchange of information between local public authorities in all regions of the country, on implemented projects, good practices, funding opportunities and identification of partnerships.

Requirements

- at least 5 years of programming experience

- at least 3 years of experience with modern JS frameworks (VueJS, Angular, React)

- University degree in IT field

- very good understanding of OOP and programming algorithms

- solid knowledge of client-side technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

 - Web API knowledge: REST, GraphQL;

-  Unit testing;

 - Version Control: Git;

-  Have worked before with: XML, JSON, YAML.

Knowledge of any of the following is an asset:

• Typescript or ES6;
• Responsive Design or UX experience;
• Familiarity with backend technologies: Nodejs, C#(.NET), Java, Python, etc
• Familiarity with AWS, Jira, Agile, Concept of Business Process Workflow;
• Database knowledge: NoSQL(MongoDB, CouchDB,etc);
• Test driven design, automated testing and continuous integration.
