Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Project Engineer – Building Services to support construction activities for industrial projects. The role focuses on on-site engineering oversight, construction quality assurance, MEP coordination, and ensuring full compliance with technical standards and safety requirements. Daily commute or relocation to the project site (70–100 km from Bucharest) is mandatory.

Job Description

• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and confidentiality standards.

• Inspect contractor work to verify alignment with plans, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Maintain daily field reports and quality assurance documentation.

• Monitor non-conforming work and track corrective actions.

• Review and validate method statements, material submissions, and execution plans.

• Oversee site health and safety compliance and report non-conformities.

• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.

• Assist with progress tracking, reporting, and communication with clients.

• Conduct risk assessments and verify fire safety systems.

• Work with clients to resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Building Services Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in on-site construction; industrial project exposure is a plus.

• Strong technical understanding of construction quality assurance, inspections, and local regulations.

• Proven MEP design coordination experience (minimum 2 years preferred).

• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project tools.

• Willingness to travel or relocate within Romania and internationally is a must.

• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
