Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Medical Advisor & Science Liaison to join our dynamic and dedicated Oncology team. As an MSL, you will serve as a central link between our organization and the medical community, providing scientific expertise, education, and support to healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and KOLs in the assigned therapeutic area(s) to educate them about our new Oncology product and its potential impact on patient care.
  • Serve as a trusted scientific resource on our products, therapies, and disease states, deliver presentations, facilitating scientific discussions, and providing clinical support on the efficacy, safety, and mechanisms of action of our new products.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams based on interactions with healthcare professionals and the evolving Oncology medical landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch of a product offering a new Oncology treatment option, including contributing insights and feedback based on interactions with the Oncology community.
  • Stay current with scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and industry trends to ensure accurate and up-to-date information dissemination.

Your Profile:

  • University degree in a health-related or bio-sciences field, preferably MD.
  • Working experience: minimum 3 years in similar position.
  • Genuine passion for Oncology and a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and advancing cancer care through scientific innovation and collaboration.
  • Good understanding of the execution of field medical affairs plans, strong understanding of Oncology therapeutics, tumor biology, and treatment landscapes as well as previous experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferentially as MSL or within Medical Affairs is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (80% is dedicated to field interaction) to engage with healthcare professionals, attend scientific conferences and meetings, and support various initiatives related to the Oncology product.
  • Thorough knowledge of the local regulatory and market access requirements related to medical affairs activities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the legal and ethical framework and the procedural guidelines that apply to the promotion and approval of medicinal products in Romania.
  • Quick self-learner ability and willingness to work in a team and independently.
  • Communicative competence and presentation skills as well as confidence and poise in delivering presentations and engaging in scientific discussions.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English and Fluent Romanian.
  • High-level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific data.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions to address challenges in the Oncology landscape.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Driving license
