 Vernicolor Romania is recruiting for an experienced sales professional for the position of Local Sales Manager, responsible for existing accounts and new business development within OEM´s and TR1 suppliers in the automotive. Our products integrated several process steps such as injection molding, painting, laser etching, chrome plating and assembly.

 The responsibilities will include:

 Develop continuous growth in existing and potential automotive accounts;

  • Implement commercial strategy to the customer or product group;
  • Negotiate and obtain strategic business opportunities;
  • Build solid relationship with customers on a strategic and operational level;
  • Active attendance at automotive conferences;
  • Detect new opportunity trends and requirements; investigate them, and develop them with product marketing;
  • Define and actively pursue target strategies;
  • Responsibility of the coordination for the customer acquisition projects.


Desired Skills and Experience

 The main criteria for this role is to have proven business development experience within automotive supplier industry (internationally orientated) and technical knowledge in plastic injection, painting or plating on plastic.  


Other key requirements are as follows:

 University degree in engineering fields;

4 years minimum business development experience within the automotive industry;

Experience of B to B sales in a technical environment;

Good level of English mandatory;

Other language appreciated (German will be a must);

Proven ability to manage and maintain key relationships with decision makers;

Familiarity with the design domains in the automotive industry;

Sensitive to customer needs, diplomatic, highly customer oriented.
