Legal Manager

1500 €/luna
Role Overview

We are looking for a Legal Manager / Legal Advisor to provide end‑to‑end legal support for our lending operations and compliance framework. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory alignment, mitigating legal risks, and strengthening the institution’s governance and operational integrity.

You will work closely with credit, sales, compliance, and recovery teams, offering strategic legal guidance and hands‑on support in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

  • Legal advisory for all lending activities, including product structuring, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Acting as the company’s official representative in direct interactions with ANPC regional offices (notifications, official correspondence, inspections, and regulatory inquiries).
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts: credit agreements, addenda, notices, internal legal documents.
  • Complaint management procedure: Developing, implementing, and continuously updating the internal complaint-handling procedure to ensure full compliance with consumer protection legislation.
  • Alignment with internal rules: Reviewing standard contracts, website/store terms and conditions, and sales flows to eliminate unfair terms or improper commercial practices (in line with ANPC directives).
  • Corrective actions: Analyzing root causes of complaints and proposing procedural improvements across departments to prevent recurrence.
  • Regulatory compliance with applicable legislation (consumer credit laws, GDPR, AML, ANPC regulations, BNR requirements).
  • Legal risk assessment across lending flows, operational processes, and customer interactions.
  • Policies & procedures: drafting, updating, and implementing internal legal frameworks.
  • Authority liaison: ANPC, BNR, ANAF, enforcement bodies, and other institutions.
  • Internal training for credit, sales, and recovery teams on legal requirements and best practices.

What do you have to offer?

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law or Economic Studies.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in legal consultancy, preferably in labor law, taxation, or payroll legislation.
  • Experience in legal roles within IFNs, banks, debt recovery companies, enforcement offices, or financial services.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role or managing a team or business line.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strategic thinking and results orientation.
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law, taxation, and data protection.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Digital skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
