Exciting opportunity inside Huawei Romania's Consulting and System Integration Department, currently looking to onboard 1 Junior Software Service Engineer, covering the following tasks:

  • Provide BSS technical operation support to our valuable customers, including incident & problem handling, routine and preventive check, testing, service request handling, product catalogue and reference data updates
  • Handle customer requests under agreed SLA and according to agreed processes
  • Analyze the customer's existing systems, needs, and requirements to provide the necessary solution
  • Ability to create or update template documentation to reflect solutions provided
  • Ensure implementation of configuration requests received from customer, according to agreed solution
  • Perform test activities from stand-alone test, integration test to acceptance test of application/ software/hardware elements
  • Participation in Technical discussions with customers
  • Provide status reports on assigned tasks to identified stakeholders


  • Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer science, Mathematics/ Infomatics, Cybernetics or relevant field
  • Working experience of Unix/ Linux OS and Oracle SQL
  • Good understanding of technical support operation model and ITIL processes
  • Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English
  • Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good at customer relationship and understanding their requirements
  • Job involves working on call systems, occasionally working during night and on holidays is required

Professional Knowledge:

  • Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel (lookup functions, pivots), PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Reporting and analysis knowledge
  • Ability to work with application front end (GUI) and back end (Database)
  • Good troubleshooting skills, such that faults are promptly identified and rectified to meet the required SLAs
