Junior Quantity Surveyor needed for an expanding business/international consulting firm who specializes in Contract Management, Construction law, Forensic Delay Analysis, Forensic Quantum Analysis, Planning Engineering and Quantity Surveying. This is an excellent role for professionals looking to grow their career in a thriving industry with a company that is going through a phase of expansion and is involved in working on a number of prestigious projects.

 

The candidate must have the following experience and ability to:

 

- review drawings and the Contract Documents for measurement purposes;

- calculate quantities utilising international standard methods of measurement;

- preparation of cost plans or estimates for projects;

- assess progress from measurement records;

- prepare applications for interim payment;

- prepare unit prices in detail for the valuation of variations;

- prepare written reports;

- demonstrate high level of expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel;

 

Education Requirements:

- Civil Engineer university degree (preferably Roads and bridges construction engineer);

or

- BSc in accounting and finance

- minimum of 1 year experience in technical service;

- detailed knowledge of Ms Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD;

- good command of English language;
