(Junior) ETL Technology Consultant - Sibiu

Responsibilities: 

• As a technical consultant, you will support our customers with projects in the ETL and RegTech areas during the implementation/extension of our ABACUS software products
• Conception of technical solutions in cooperation with our customers
• Development of interfaces and transformations for the ETL processes
• SQL based development, based on functional requirements
• Unit Testing, System Integration Testing
• Process optimisations and customer-specific customisations
• Interest in high-performance solutions and parallel processing concepts
• Ensure the communication flow from/to the product software development team and our customers or other teams
• Close teaming with functional and technical experts
• Support in all project phases: analyses, requirements, development, implementation, automation, testing and go live
• Depending on the career step, responsibility for small project team 
• Example of project activities:
• ETL to transform required customer data into ABACUS data model
• Data quality management and consistency checking
• Automation and optimisation of processes, workflows and systems to meet the needed KPIs

Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science / informatics (University/University of Applied Science)
• Database development skills, capable to design complex SQL queries and corresponding test to ensure data quality and consistency
• Knowledge of database systems and object-oriented programming languages
• Understanding of ETL process, data models and their relations
• Enjoy taking new subjects and challenges 
• Having fun in communication within the team and with the customer
• Very good English knowledge, German and other languages are a plus
• Client and service oriented
• Curiosity in technology and innovative topics
• Nice to have:
• Practical experience in technology consulting
• Jira and Bitbucket
• Practical experience in scripting languages and in working with Unix-based operating systems
• Development skills such as JAVA or C#
• Experience with web applications and application servers
• Flexible and ready to travel to international clients, with a travel availability up to 80%
