Intermediate Java Developer motivated to up-skill into a

Customer Facing, System Integration Consultant.

We are an alliance of Consultants specialized in delivering complex system integration solutions to multinational enterprises and we need to expand our network.

What you need to know, 

taking these experience levels as reference:

Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, Proficient, Advanced.

• English - Advanced, any other language is a plus.
• Java SE - Proficient
• SQL - Intermediate
• HTML&CSS - Intermediate
• Linux - Beginner
• Office Tools (Word, Excel, etc.) - Intermediate
• Regular expressions - Beginner
• XML - Beginner
• JSON - Beginner
• UML - Beginner
• Business Process Modeling - Beginner

What you will do:

To begin with, you will learn a lot about various integration technologies.

You will learn our preferred integration platform, various API types, XML technology (XSD, WSDL, SOAP, X-Path, X-Query and so on), JSON with Swagger over REST, Regular Expressions and UML.

You will study our Developer Guides and Best Practices.

You will study Requirements Engineering and Business Process Modeling.

While learning, you will have small assignments. For example, research and write a short report on a technical topic or build a software component (coding).

When the concepts start to make sense, you will start reviewing the work of your peers and you will start contributing with small components of larger projects.

You will take more and more responsibilities as you become confident and familiar with our way of working.

Each project will bring it's own challenges that have to be researched.

Continuous learning and development is a key requirement for success in this role.

What we will do:

We will assess your current level.

Invest in your skills until you become marketable, covering all the training costs.

Pay you a decent salary in the process.

Introduce you to our existing clients. Co-deliver projects under supervision until you become competent and confident to deliver projects on your own.

Where will you work:

Mostly remote: Home office.

Sometimes we have to travel internationally for workshops or project kickoffs.

On rare occasions, we have clients that require onsite presence for extended periods of time.

What to expect from this job:

It is NOT a 9 to 5 job. We deliver on time, however long it takes.

On the other hand, you don’t need to sit in front of the screen if you finished your work in 4 hours. Enjoy your life.
