IT Support Engineer with German/Turkish

We are looking for IT Customer Support Engineers working with Storage & Server solutions for our Global Technical Assistance Center.

Our teams provide 1st party vendor support, not project-based, which means you will have the opportunity for a longtime collaboration.

Mandatory requirements for current vacancies are proficiency in a second international language (B2 or higher) from either German, French or Turkish, and having the basis for growth, either from similar experience or relevant courses.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer service requests from all Europe for our IT products (Storage, Servers, Data Protection products, Data Center, Cloud Computing, Big Data & Cloud Storage and more) by providing customer support from the physical layer up to the application layer;
  • Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve product and network issues of moderate to high complexity;
  • Effectively utilizes moderate to complex lab setups to recreate and solve problems;
  • Acts as a technical expert and provides support on a world-wide basis Interacts across TAC teams and development teams at peer level.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English & German/Turkish;
  • Familiar with servers and OS (Windows, Linux, Unix);
  • Good understanding about the X86 server;
  • Knowledge of SAN storage and protocols (FC, RAID, FCOE);
  • Knowledge of NAS storage and protocols (CIFS, NFS, SCSI);
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (able to analyze debug outputs and logs);  
  • Able to determine problems and deliver known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction;

Short description of our departments

Technical Assistance Center includes support engineers in different product lines, providing support for Business Customers, to solve technical issues and major incidents in an efficient way. Support engineers are the owners of problem tickets, in charge of communicating with customers, troubleshooting and providing the best solution.

Customer Care Representative Team receives all requests from our customers in 6 different languages, through different channels. They are in charge of providing non-technical support, or creating tickets for technical issues and dispatching them to corresponding engineers (teams) based on product line and technology.

The Marketing and Channel Support Center provides a full range of channel oriented services by helping our partners to ensure the service continuity and continually improve our service quality. Furthermore, this center also provides a service exhibition section with access for our partners and customers who would like to visit.
