The Senior, IT Project Manager will plan and execute projects to achieve scope, timeline, budget, and value expectations. This will include coordination across all stakeholder audiences end-to-end from project inception to delivery and closure. The Senior, IT Project Manager will be embedded within the Reservations, Airports, and Ancillaries Solutions (RAAS) team to provide customer/traveler-centric solutions to all participants in the travel value chain: Travel Agencies, Travel Suppliers, Corporations, and Travelers. Our products and solutions help travel providers deliver superior travel experiences by incorporating travelers' preferences, history and value into each step of the travel process. We do this by processing, packaging, and distributing travel data and insights to travelers and authorized travel providers. * IT Project Management - Senior (Architecture & Shared Technology) * DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Position will be embedded with the Reservations, Airports, and Ancillaries Solutions (RAAS) technology team to ensure timely completion of IT projects that are executed primarily using Agile project management methodology. • Under general direction, manages the development and implementation of products and services, usually involving extensive interaction with client, systems engineering, and other members of departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing Core Reservations products. Many projects are complex in scope based on the number of teams involved. • Plans and directs schedules and budgets • Monitors projects from initiation through delivery, and reports work progress • Maintains Risk and Issues Management log and leads collaboration among stakeholders to risk and issues resolution as they occur • Coordinates interdepartmental activities, ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule, and within budget constraints • Often leads multiple projects simultaneously • Ensures project management processes and procedures are followed to ensure that projects are developed and implemented according to approved business requirements *'Must have' skills:* • Sound knowledge of IT software development and project management methodologies, preferably in an Agile environment. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills. Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, ensure quality and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment. • Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle (PLC), including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration, implementation/delivery and maintenance. Systems Integration: Knowledge of how different systems interact, including potential problems and difficulties that may occur. Develops and maintains technical knowledge in assigned areas. • Strong command of English language (both oral and written communications) • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or equivalent • Experience with project planning and reporting tools, ., Rally, Version One, Jira, MS Project or equivalent • University undergraduate degree, Masters a plus, or equivalent work experience *'Nice to have' skills:* • PMP certification • Be flexible to change • Familiarity with Travel/ IT in Aviation business • Working knowledge of how IT systems interact, including potential risks, issues and difficulties that may occur. • Exposure to video/ audio conferencing technologies • Experience with enterprise project portfolio management systems (EPPM), ., CA PPM, Primavera or equivalent • Exposure to Microsoft corporate environment archiving software, including SharePoint platform, or equivalent At Sabre, we are fortunate to have the resources of a large company paired with the culture of a startup.
