What will you do 


  • Single point of contact to Eastern Europe businesses (Czechia, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Slovakia) for all IT related financial activities, set-up and improve the data gathering process

  • Implement Business Units (BU) governance & reviews with Eastern Europe countries, enable process dispute resolution

  • Perform customer representative and stakeholder communication with deep understanding of the delivery units’ services, charging principles, focusing on creating business value and how to steer & influence BU IT spend on short-, mid- and long-term development

  • Steer the financial management process in Digital Technology (DT) Controlling matrix organization and ensure alignment on financial planning with Eastern Europe Business Units, ensure financial transparency to BUs and EDT ( E.ON Digital Technologies GmbH), as well as financial steering

  • Set negotiation and communication strategy to ensure that stakeholders understand and agree the discretionary part of their financial plans, translate business transactions into IT and vice versa, take on change requests and address them to the Digital Technology organization

  • Negotiate financial settlements between Business Units and EDT for any dispute on rejected invoice items independently from root cause, ensure integral data gathering from local BU IT to EDT in order to deliver financial transparency on IT costs and report the overall IT charges for Eastern Europe BUs


How do you know you are the right fit    


  • Education/ Training: University Degree (Economics, Business Informatics or equivalent)

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance/ Controlling, understanding cost drivers end-to-end, business to IT, expertise in financial modelling, good understanding of the Energy Networks and Customer Solutions sector and business model

  • Languages: Romanian and English (advanced level), other Eastern Europe languages are an advantage

  • Other skills: Ability to think in business transactions and translate IT into business and vice versa, excellent communication and conflict resolution skills in regular exchanges with Eastern Europe BUs, capability to deal with ambiguity and to work under pressure/ tight deadlines, self-confident, independent, thinking in solutions and driving for results
