The main scope of this role is to ensure the business continuity and provide IT support to all the business entities.
Maintain the company's IT network, servers, workstations and security systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware, network connection, printer and software issues reported by the business users. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed.
Monitor and remove virus, spyware and other non-authorized software
Monitor the daily backup jobs and correct any identified issue, if found
Conduct technology training for the new users
Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise. Periodically attend courses to develop and keep skills
Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking and make recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
Complete special projects as requested by the business team
Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or related field. Certifications such as MCP, A+ preferred
Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years prior experience with providing workstation, server and network support
A working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly MS Windows
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange
Knowledge of Office 365
Knowledge in virtualization software, preferable VMware
Network skills, preferred on Cisco and Ubiquiti equipment
Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
