*About the Job* We are seeking for an Intern with troubleshooting and communication skills to become an Account Service Manager and an integral part of Akamai's Account Management Group (AMG) within the CER Region. Amongst other activities, this person will be responsible for managing Akamai's online tools, delivering against Customer requirements. *About the Team* Akamai's Account Management Group (AMG) is the central point of contact and liaison between the customer and various Akamai departments of business and technical experts. AMG consists of Client Service Managers, who manage the overall engagement and ensure the quality fulfillment of Customer needs, according to selected Service tiers. With AMG in APJ, EMEA & NA, the team becomes pivotal to the overall Customer Experience and operational efficiencies of the Services organization. *About the Summer Internship Program* The summer internship program is a great way to gain professional experience and work together with the best and sharpest people at Akamai. The paid internship will last 6 months, starting July 1st, with flexible working hours in October, November and December. Deadline for sending applications is April 4th 2016. We will contact selected candidates after that date. *An intern will:* * Become an expert in Akamai's Customer-facing tools and published information, to enable 'extra-mile' quality of service. * Focus on accurate and professional fulfillment of Customer requirements, while maintaining fast-pace and multi-tasking efficiencies. * Manage and drive both expectations and compliance with regards to the Customer's selected Service and Support tier, both with the Customer and inside Akamai. *Deliver business reviews and monthly solution report to the CER set of customers. * Remain focused, at all times, on the Customer experience and satisfaction impact, advocating the broad spectrum of capabilities and best-in-class standards of Akamai's Services organization. * Student * Fluent English and good German * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Analytical skills and technical writing skills. * Creativity, multitasking skills, brain storming * Knowledge of Internet and Internet related technologies.
