Head of Collection SME and Leasing

 

Mission of the role

The Head of Collection SME and Leasing is responsible to monitor the collection of credit contracts with corporate customers (SME and Leasing). He/she keep ongoing communication with corporate customers with overdue receivables.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assign, monitor, and supervise the workload in Collections Department to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work. 
  • Monitor the loan portfolio of the Bank - SME and leasing segment.
  • Directly communicate with customers in arrears.
  • Review accounts and proactively propose restructuring where action beyond routine collection procedures must be undertaken.
  • Collect and analyze information in regards with non performing loans.
  • Lead a high performing SME collection team.
  • Make recommendations regarding the development of policies and procedures; identify and implement processing efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, law, finance or accounting related field or equivalent work and education experience required.
  • 7+ years Collections experience in a banking or financial services environment.  
  • 3+ years of experience managing, growing and developing a team.
  • Good knowledge of local legislation in the respective area.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressured environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Romanian.
  • MS Office.
  • Driving license.
