Job Title: Front-End Web Developer - ideally with WordPress & Elementor Pro experience (REMOTE)

Hours Required: 35 Hours Per Week (full-time position)

Type: Freelancer 

Hours of Work: Flexible 

Location: Remote (must be available to attend meetings on video conferencing during UK office hours)

Salary: 1000 to 1500 EUR (depending on experience)

Summary

This role is responsible for developing unique and exciting websites by bringing our designs to life. It will consist of analysing the client approved designs (put together by our in-house designers) and building live websites on a variety of platforms including WordPress using Elementor Pro as a page builder and working with a list of approved plugins to achieve the best possible results.

Responsibilities

• Designing websites with great UX that delivers on the clients’ objectives

• Transferring approved designs into responsive websites using various platforms inc. WordPress

• Updating ‘Monday’ project management system with the progress of active projects

• Setting approved sites live and managing the transfer of the site to go live

Experience Required

You will need a minimum of 2 years’ development experience. We’d like to see examples of work you have done.

Platform & Related Expertise

Essential

• An understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

• WordPress experience

• Experience in responsive/adaptive web development

Beneficial

• Website speed optimisation experience

• Basic SEO best practice knowledge

• Web hosting control panel experience: cPanel, Plesk etc.

• Google Tag Manager - experienced in setting up & troubleshooting Google Tag Manager

Expectations

We are flexible in approach and are committed to building a long term relationship with the right person. We do have some necessary requirements that will be needed for the role:

• Access to a reliable internet connection 

• Ability to video conference using Skype or Google Meet

• Available during UK working hours 9-5:30 to attend team meetings

• Updating of company project management software

• Join and be responsive in the company chat
